Serving Love

I love gadgets.

The smaller, the better.

The more powerful, the better.

The more unique, the better.

When my four-year-old Fujitsu Lifebook started to get too sluggish, I started thinking about a new one.

I love my Blackberry 8700C for getting email and answering phone calls, but trying to view web sites on it requires a microscope. I wanted one of those new ultra-light warp-speed too-cool “laptops” to carry on planes and use out by the pool.

I looked at the new OQO  long and hard. It’s under one pound and does everything but transport me from here to your house. But the website is poorly done, the model is back ordered for almost three months, and the device isn’t much bigger than my Blackberry, anyway.

I then considered the new Fujitsu Lifebook P1610. It’s about 2 pounds and can come as a double-duty tablet screen PC as well as a regular screen Windows unit.

I also knew there are lots of other makes and models out there. Trying to decide which one to get for me was getting confusing.

I bought a few gadget magazines.

I poked around online doing research.

I even went into a retail computer store, which amazingly didn’t have a single ultra-light to show me.

“They’re all on our site,” the clerk told me.

Yea, but I’m in your store, I thought, and I have money in my pocket to spend right now.

So I wrote to Fujitsu and asked them which model they would recommend from their giant catalog of products.

I also wrote to Dynamism popular gadget site that’s been around for nine years. They specialize in selling Japanese products to the US market. I wanted to know what model they would suggest, too.

Fujitsu never replied.

That was over a week go and they still haven’t replied. Very disappointing. I was a Fujitsu customer and was all set to be one again. But they ignored me.

Dynamism wrote back quickly.

They suggested the Panasonic R6. It’s 2 pounds and has an 8 hour battery life.

I bought it.

It arrived yesterday. I had some questions about operating it, so I called Dynamism. They answered the phone every time. There was never a wait. Never put on hold.

And when I asked one tech guy there if I could ask a few more questions, he laughed and said, “You can ask me anything you like. I’m here for you.”

Last night Nerissa and I went out with our friend Mark Ryan.  The Mississippi waitress who took care of us had off the charts high energy, Southern charm, and a smile that made my heart sing. We loved her and her spirit.

When we asked her what kept her so happy while she served people, she said, “I’m trying to make a small difference in people’s lives.”

She ended up sitting with us at our table, after dinner, and talking to us for almost an hour.

That’s service.

That’s love.

And whether it’s from a computer store or a waitress, we all want it.

Hypnotic Selling – Or Where’s the Magic?

I love magic. I know many magicians and often attend magic conventions and shows. I haunt the dealer room, where magic tricks are sold. I’m looking for the tricks that make people gasp in surprise and delight.

Unfortunately, most magic is on the level of a prank or kid’s joke. That’s not for me, so most magic that I see disappoints me.

But one day I met a magic dealer at a convention who was very friendly. He took his time with me, listened to my needs, and then responded with some truly hypnotic stories. For example:

“I went into one of those big discount stores,” Mr. Williams, the dealer, began. “The woman behind the counter seemed bored so I decided to do a little magic to liven up her day.

“I asked her to pretend I had a deck of cards in my hand. I then let her shuffle the make believe cards, cut them, deal them out, and pick any card she wanted.

“Remember, all of this was done in her head,” William explained.

“After I let her choose her card, I asked if she wanted to change her selection. She said no. I then announced that her card was the seven of spades.”

Mr. Williams paused before telling me this next statement:

“Well, you could hear this woman’s scream all throughout the store.

“But the story doesn’t end there,” he continued.

“There was a man and his son who heard the scream and went over to see what happened. The woman who saw the trick pointed at me and said, ‘He just fried me by reading my mind!’ They were all as white as ghosts after that.”

As this magic dealer told the story, I could see it all happening in my mind. The details were rich enough to help me picture it in my head. And when he said the woman screamed, I felt that rush of excitement that said, “Get that trick, Joe.”

And yes, I bought that trick.

This same dealer told me two more stories, about magic tricks he did for people and their reactions to them. In every case I was there, mentally, and I ended up buying the tricks.

If you haven’t caught on yet, this is Hypnotic Selling at work.

I’m sure the magic dealer has no idea what Hypnotic Selling is. He does it naturally. So let’s review some key points:

1. He listened to me.

He couldn’t offer any suggestions or stories to me until he first knew what I wanted. So he probed to discover I wanted magic that made people gasp. That clued him to what he should offer me. Had I said I wanted magic for kids, I’m sure he would have told me a story about performing magic for kids. He tailored his story to me. Be doing so, he met me in my existing trance.

2. He told true stories.

He didn’t make up his stories. He told me exactly what happened when he used these tricks in the real world. That subliminally communicated to me that he was honest, and that these tricks would work for me, too. People are always making conclusions based on the little information you tell them. Always be honest, so trust is there when it’s time for the order.

3. He used lots of details.

He told me what store he went to, the name of the woman he performed the trick for (I left them out here, though), and all the details of her reaction. This brought the story to life in my mind and made it easy for me to see myself performing and receiving the applause. People will generally “live out” the story you tell them in their head. The more specifics you can offer, the easier it will be for them to relate to your story.

You get the idea. Hypnotic Selling is all about delivering a message to people that fits what they are looking for, and is delivered in a vivid way.

Do this and you’ll see real magic. People will marvel at your storytelling skills — and they’ll pay you real money, too.

And that’s the best trick of all.

Crazy New Way to Increase Sales from Zero

In my book, “Zero Limits,” I talk about the unusual therapist who helped heal an entire hospital ward of mentally ill criminals — without seeing any of them.

I’ve since learned his method for healing, which involves “cleaning” yourself of all negativity in order to see change in others.

It seems bizarre, but when you take care of your own issues, they disappear in other people.

The whole idea is to love the problems away. You do it by saying “I love you,” and a few other statements, non-stop. I’ve been doing it for two years now and my life is astonishing. I live in an almost moment-by-moment state of bliss.

Once I learned this method, I started to use it on other things besides illness. Since I’m a practical metaphysician and an entrepreneur, I wanted to see if this wild method would work on sales and other bottom line results.

Whenever I would write an article — much like this one — I would send love into it.

Whenever I would write another book — like my new one, “Zero Limits” — I would keep saying “I love you” in my mind.

What I noticed is my emails and articles would get read and distributed to *millions* of people.

And my book, “Zero Limits,” became an Amazon bestseller — six months *before* it was published.

But I didn’t stop there in my testing.

Because I want to be sure this method works for others and not just me, I taught it to my close friends.

Bill Hibbler, coauthor with me of the book “Meet and Grow Rich,” was skeptical. But he borrowed a pre-publication copy of my book, “Zero Limits,” read it, and started loving his products and his list of subscribers. Here’s what he said:

“Sales for Jan 1-4 were 41.39% higher than Dec 1-4. During the four day period in January, I didn’t mail my list or launch any new promotion during that time. All I did was clean while reading your book and throughout the day.”

Bill went on to tell me he saw sales increase from sites like create ultimate ebooks  which he wasn’t promoting *at all*.

How is this possible?

How can “cleaning” yourself with a mantra like “I love you” make a difference in your sales?

It appears that there is nothing “out there.”The entire world is a projection of what you feel inside.

So, if you feel love, you will attract love.  Because love contains gratitude, you attract more things to be grateful for. This is the essence of my book, “The Attractor Factor,” and of course of the movie, “The Secret.”

You get what you feel.

That’s it.

At heart I think you (I) just want love. Well, so does everyone else. When you say “I love you” inside yourself, you cleanse yourself and you radiate an energy that others feel.

The result: more sales.

Still skeptical?

Look at it this way:

Even if this whole method seems totally crazy to you, what harm can come from you saying “I love you” in your mind as you make calls, write emails, deliver pitches, and go about your day?

If nothing else, you’ll have better feeling days.

Try it and see.

A New Way to Easily Achieve Your Goals

I’ve learned at least two things about achieving goals: There is an easy way and a hard way.

The hard way is to work night and day, stay obsessed, rarely sleep, and never give up.

Since everyone talks about the hard way, I want to address the easy way. After all, why struggle if you don’t have to?

I’ve used the easy way to create bestselling books, lose 70 pounds in 8 months, find my ideal mate, get healthy, increase my wealth, and much more.

Obviously, it works.

Here’s the formula in brief:

1. Be grateful for what you already have.

2. Playfully declare what you would like to have with positive emotion, feeling as if it is already achieved.

3. Act on the nudges and opportunities that appear.

That’s it. In my latest book, “The Attractor Factor,” I explain a 5-step formula for getting what you want. It’s useful for those times when you don’t feel grateful, or can’t decide on what you want, or don’t understand the concept of letting go while taking inspired action. It’s also helpful when you have issues about money, or deserving, or feel in any way blocked from your goals.

But the bottom-line for me is this: Declare what you would like with no attachment and plenty of good feeling, feel grateful for what you already have, and act on what appears. The result will be the manifestation of a happy life.

Let’s explore this in depth.

1. Feel grateful now.

It doesn’t mater where you live or what you have.

If you’re reading this, you’re most likely living like a king or queen compared to people in third world countries. You may even be living better than kings or queens from history, as they often lived in cold, violent, frightful times. You’ve got it made.

2. Choose what you want without attachment, feeling as if it is already achieved.

There’s magic in saying “Id love to—(fill in the blank) but I won’t die if I don’t have it.” Since the world is simply energy taking form, when you declare you want something, you begin to attract it. But when you say you need something, the need pushes it away. You want to select your desire, and feel the joy of already having it, without feeling any desperation. Need will push it away; Desire will attract it. If you feel as if you *already* have it, then you *will* have it.

3. Act on your opportunities and intuitions.

You may get offers, calls, or who knows what. Act on them. You never know what will lead you to your goal. Your ego cannot see the big picture. Intuition and opportunities will come to you from the larger view, and your job is to act on them. As you do, you will be taken to your goal, even when it appears you are being blocked away. Trust is key.

Is that really all there is to it?

Again, the fuller procedure in “The Attractor Factor” will take care of any snags in the process, but the basic process is simple. Let’s walk through it:

1. Look around your room. What are you grateful for? Make a list. Get into the authentic feeling of true gratitude. In other words, be happy now. You don’t need a reason to be happy. But if you want one, find something, anything, to be grateful for right now. When you’re grateful, you’re in a mental place that will attract more to be grateful for.

2. Look around the playground of your mind. What would you like to have, do, or be? What would be fun? Write it down. As you do, feel what it would be like to already have it now. Pretend you won the lotto. What would you want for yourself or others? What would be fun? The key is playful non-attachment while experiencing its completion *now.*

3. Now pay attention. As you go about your life, listen to your hunches and act on them, and pay attention to the opportunities and act on them. You never know what will take you in the direction of your goal. Your job is to take inspired action. You may have some work to do in this step, but the work will be from your heart, and will take you in the direction of getting your goal.

Why not go through the steps right now?

Write them down, experience them, and then check back in a few weeks and see how they are doing. You may surprise yourself by how easily and quickly your goals are achieved.
